How to Grow and Maintain The Dali Mustache
The most important part of growing a Dali mustache is the product you use to style it. Follow these tips to imitate this famous look.
1. Grow out your mustache.
Start by growing out your mustache to at least the point where it starts to fall below your lipline. At this point, you can begin to “train” your mustache by using a comb and beard butter to style and pull the sides outward and slightly upward.
2. Start styling your mustache outward and upward.
After several months of growth, you’ll be able to split your mustache to either side and style the hair with a slight upward curl. As it gets longer, you may need to use beeswax to get the shape to stay.
3. Maintain the style.
To maintain this style, we recommend using a grooming kit that contains a comb, scissors, and a safety razor. You can use the scissors to trim the ends of your mustache and keep it at your desired length. Use the razor to keep the rest of your face clean-shaven and keep the focus on your mustache. Finally, you’ll want to use the comb daily to style your mustache.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get The Dali look:
- Wild Willies Beard Butter - Cool Mint: to style and train your mustache upward.
- The Expert Grooming Kit: to trim, style, and maintain your mustache.
- Shave Lube: for shaving off the rest of your facial hair.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Pencil Mustache
The pencil mustache makes a statement on it’s own, and usually does not include a beard. Follow these steps to get a great pencil mustache that will make you want to light a cigar and drink some whiskey with the boys.
1. Shave all of your facial hair except your mustache.
This look is best when it stands alone, so start by shaving off all of your facial hair except the mustache. To get a close shave and prevent razor burn, use a shave lube and a safety razor.
2. Trim your mustache.
A pencil mustache should be short. Use a 2mm or 4mm guard on your trimmer to even out the length of your ‘stache.
3. Define the shape.
The distinguishing feature of the pencil mustache is that it’s usually straight across. Take any attachments off your trimmer and use short, gentle strokes to achieve a straight line. Stop frequently to check for symmetry.
4. Take care of your skin.
Since most of your face will be sans hair, you’ll want to take extra care of your skin to prevent dryness, flakiness, or acne. Use a facial cleanser like Tough Scrub to eliminate dirt and oil and prevent clogged pores. Finish off with a moisturizer that contains SPF to keep your face hydrated and protected from the sun’s rays.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect pencil mustache:
- Wild Willies Shave Lube: to get a close shave and prevent razor burn.
- Tough Scrub: to cleanse your face.
- Smooth With SPF: to moisturize your face and protect your skin from UV rays.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect French Mustache Shape
The French mustache can be a fun experience when growing it out. Here are the steps to do just that.
1. Grow The Mustache
For the French mustache, you will need to get a good curl. This means that the mustache needs to be long, usually two inches or more in hair length. Start growing your mustache out as soon as possible. If you are having trouble or it’s taking too long, try using beard growth supplements containing natural ingredients.
2. Trim And Style
The next step is to trim and style the mustache. Use beard clippers to get a nice, even look but make sure you don’t cut off the ends. You may have to do this a couple of times over the course of a week or two, depending on how fast your hair grows. The key is to keep the hairs around your upper lip uniform while letting the ends get long. Once they are a couple of inches long, apply beard butter balm and twirl the hair around your finger. This will create an upwards curl.
3. Maintain The Mustache And Beard
With a French mustache, you can choose to have a beard. If you decide to lose the beard, then you will need to shave off any unwanted hairs around your jaw, cheeks, and neck. If you decide to keep the beard, you should trim it every so often so that it grows uniformly. We recommend using a good beard shampoo and conditioner on your facial hair to keep it clean and soft.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect French mustache:
- Beard Growth Supplements: All-natural ingredients boost beard growth and give your hair the nutrients it needs.
- Beard Wash: This beard wash will keep your facial hair nice and clean without stripping it of essential oils.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Imperial Mustache Shape
It takes a little bit of time and grooming to get the imperial mustache to look right, but with enough practice, you can achieve this look. Here are the steps to grow one.
1. Grow The Mustache
The first thing that you need to do is grow a nice mustache. It may take some time, depending on how fast your hair grows. You can take daily gummy supplements to help your facial hair grow. Also, consider trimming your beard every week or twice a week. This will help expedite your facial hair growth. The mustache must be at least two inches on the ends so you can curl it in the final step.
2. Groom And Maintain A Healthy Mustache
As you grow your mustache, you must ensure that you are properly maintaining it. Use a beard shampoo and beard softener to keep it looking its best throughout the process. We recommend washing your mustache with these products every day or two days. This will keep the dirt and grease out of your mustache while not stripping it of the essential oils it needs. You can also invest in a good beard brush to keep those unruly hairs in check.
3. Create The Imperial Curl
The final step to get the imperial mustache look is to curl up the ends. Take a dab of beard butter balm between your index finger and thumb. Then grab the ends of your mustache with your fingers and twist them in your hand. This will cause the hairs to group together and become thin on the ends. Finally, take your index finger and curl the ends around it. You may need to do this several times until it starts to stay.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect imperial mustache:
- Beard Growth Gummies Supplements: These will help you grow a long and thick mustache with the vitamins and minerals your facial hair needs.
- Beard Soft: Keeps your facial hair soft and looks great.
- Beard Butter Balm & Beard Brush Combo Set: Style and shape your mustache with quality beard butter balm and a professional brush.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Italian Mustache Shape
The Italian mustache is a great look that is pretty simple to achieve. Here are the steps it takes to grow one.
1. Grow Out The Mustache
First, you need to grow a nice mustache. You can opt to have a beard or not, but the main focus should be on the mustache itself. That means growing one at least an inch or more in length so that you have enough hair to work with when you curl the ends. You can use a quality beard serum daily to help promote mustache hair growth and to thicken it up.
2. Trim The Mustache
The Italian mustache is usually very well groomed, so keep it trimmed and tidy. Use a beard trimmer or get a comb and scissors to cut the hair back to an even length. As you cut back the hair, make sure you let the ends grow out a little longer. After trimming, you can apply a small amount of beard oil to the mustache, keeping it moisturized and soft.
3. Curl The Ends
Finally, you will need to slightly curl up the ends to have a true Italian mustache. Take some beard butter balm in between your fingers and thumb. Then gently rub the ends of your mustache hairs back and forth in a twisting motion. This will cause them to clump together and thin out. After that, slightly up or curl, the ends up towards your cheekbones. You don’t need to make a full circle here, just enough to give it a nice lift on the ends.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect Italian mustache:
- Beard Growth Serum: Contains all-natural ingredients to help boost facial hair growth and thicken your mustache.
- Beard Oil - Original: Keeps your mustache hydrated and moisturized, so it doesn’t become hard or brittle.
- Beard Butter Balm & Beard Brush Combo Set: Used to shape and style your mustache.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Cowboy Mustache Shape
Follow these steps if you’d like to grow out your very own cowboy mustache.
1. Grow Out The Mustache
A cowboy mustache is usually pretty thick and extends past the upper lip and sometimes down to the jawline. You will need to grow a longer and thick mustache to pull this look off. If you have trouble growing facial hair or patchy hair, then we suggest taking daily beard growth supplements. These will aid you in getting long and thick hair for your mustache.
2. Trim And Groom
The next thing you need to do is trim your mustache hairs every so often. In the beginning, you can let it grow out, but eventually, you will want to trim up those unruly hairs. This will do two things. First, it will keep the mustache looking nice and uniform. Second, it will help the hair grow faster. Pick up an expert grooming kit and use the supplied comb and scissors to cut any excess hair from your mustache. You can also use the included razor and beard-shaping tool to style the edges of your mustache and shave the rest of your face.
3. Maintain A Healthy Mustache
Finally, you will want to keep your mustache looking as good as possible. Wash your mustache every day or two with beard wash. Then use a beard softener which will keep that cowboy mustache looking smooth. Top it off with quality beard butter, and you will have a mustache the whole town will be talking about.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect cowboy mustache:
- Beard Growth Supplements: Contains the minerals and vitamins your facial hair needs to grow long and thick.
